Wednesday is my Pump Day

I am looking forward to the deals starting tomorrow at the Grocery Stores.  I've already started matching my coupons with the deals so I can stretch the dollar even further.

It sure does bug me that Albertsons does not double their coupons.  At least Vons and Ralphs does.

Here are a few of the highlights at Vons - they have GREAT store coupons this week to match with manufacturer coupons:

45 ct Dixie Plates: 2.50 - 1.01 SC - 1.00 DMC = 49 cents
Translation:  2.50 reg price minus 1.01 store coupon minus 1.00 doubled manufacturer coupn

Betty Crocker Suddenly Pasta Salad:
1.99 - 0.99 SC - 1.00/2 DMC = 49 cents (x 2 boxes)

Yoplait Delights Yogurt
2.29 - .50 SC - 1.00 DMC = 79 cents

Clorox Bleach
1.99 - 0.50SC - 0.50 DMC = 99 cents

Ralphs 7/15/10

Spent $15.87 total. 
Saved $16.71 on sales. Saved $9.25 on coupons.  
Totalling a savings of 61%!

Vons and Albertsons 7/16

Today I spent $23.33 out of pocket for all the groceries you see.

At Albertsons I spent $2.06. I saved $13.17 on sales, $2.00 on coupons,

 and used a recycling credit of $7.70. Totalling a savings of 90%!

At Vons I spent $21.27. I saved $14.61 on sales and $12.18 on coupons. Totalling a savings of 56%!

The Power of Rain Checks

This weekend only Extra Lean Ground Beef was on sale at Albertsons for 1.88 / lb. (Must buy 3 lbs) I didn't remember until 8:30 that I needed to go pick mine up. The meat counter was closed, but I did not hesitate to ask for a rain check. Now I can go in sometime this week and still take advantage of the great price!

Kelloggs - What a steal!

Today's Red Plum coupon insert had 0.75/1 for Nutrigrain Bars. (I got 3 papers.)
Albertsons also had a buy 8 qualifying products and pay only $1.50 each.
So here's how it shook out:
3 boxes of Nutrigrain Bars for 0.75 each
1 box of Nutrigrain Bars for 1.50
4 boxes of Keebler Honey Graham Crackers for 1.50 each.

8 delicious boxes of snacks for the total price of 9.75

(Saved 21.67 off the original prices.)
